Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The service issue produced for intervention encounters a large influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA here will mobilise additional means to empower the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
